Advancing Gamified Intelligence Training Systems in Collaboration with the Spanish Intelligence Community

Over the past few years, SA-BIO has been involved in several research and development initiatives in collaboration with the National Intelligence Center of Spain (CNI), contributing to the design, improvement, and deployment of tools related to intelligence cycle training and digital learning systems. Although each project addressed different stages and objectives, they all share a common goal: enhancing how complex analytical processes can be taught, practiced, and improved through interactive and technology-driven environments.

One of the initial collaborations focused on the research and development of gamification strategies applied to the intelligence cycle, exploring how structured learning processes can benefit from interactive and simulation-based approaches. This line of work later evolved into a series of projects under the CICLO365 framework, where efforts were directed toward the implementation, refinement, and continuous improvement of a dedicated training platform. Across these iterations, the focus remained on making complex operational workflows more intuitive and accessible through carefully designed digital tools, combining pedagogical structure with interactive elements.

More recently, additional work has continued to build on this foundation, including upgrades and enhancements to existing systems, ensuring that the platform evolves alongside user needs and technological advancements. These collaborations have provided a valuable opportunity to apply our expertise in intelligent systems and adaptive learning environments to highly specialized contexts. As with other projects, the work reflects our ongoing interest in developing solutions that sit at the intersection of research, applied technology, and real-world operational needs, and we remain open to continuing this line of collaboration in future initiatives with the CNI.
