                                                                                He graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of Granada in 1992 and received his PhD in Abstract Machine Oriented Heterogeneous Interoperability from the University of Oviedo in 2005 and his MBA from the University Rey Juan Carlos in 2012. He was a professor at the University of Oviedo. He is currently Associate Professor at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos since 1999 and Mentor Venia Docenty at the Universidad Nacional de Enseñanza a Distancia since 1999. He directs the Autonomous Systems classroom where he teaches several seminars and participates in several research projects on autonomous systems and robotics.

                                                                                Francisco Dominguez-Mateos is a researcher in the field of operations research and analytics, with a focus on applying mathematical modeling techniques to solve real-world problems. His works span multiple areas, including:

                                                                                1. Lean Manufacturing: He has developed models for waste reduction, production time minimization, and order fulfillment improvement in various industries such as textile, printing, and metallurgical sectors.
                                                                                2. Operations Research: Dominguez-Mateos has applied optimization techniques to solve complex problems in logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Peru.
                                                                                3. Data Governance: He has developed maturity models for data governance initiatives in microfinance organizations, universities, and the higher education sector in Peru.
                                                                                4. Artificial Intelligence: His research includes predictive modeling based on sentiment analysis for SMEs in the sustainable tourism sector, as well as recommender systems for web applications.

Information Architecture: Dominguez-Mateos has designed models for business information architecture, data governance initiatives, and information architectures for successful project implementation in the tourist sector.
