Summary

Mr. Nikola Hristov Kalamov, born in Karlovo (Bulgaria) and resident in Spain since 2004, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Video Game Design and Development (2022) and a Master’s in Decision Systems Engineering (2023).
He worked for one year as a research intern at the CTB (Centro de Tecnología Biomédica) of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), co-authoring an article on secure multi-party computation—currently under review in a high-impact journal—and initiating a follow-up study. He is now working on a PhD titled “Advances in Cryptography and Its Applications: Protection and Distribution of Personal, Health, Hospital, and Biometric Data.”
Since October 6, 2023, Mr. Kalamov has been a predoctoral researcher in the SA-BIO group (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos), where he focuses on secure biometric and biomedical data analysis.
